Aishwarya Rai is not the brand ambassador for Danone

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a name associated the world over, not only for her beauty and her talents on screen, as a personality of immense Accomplishment, Poise, Dignity & Integrity. A fact also recognized by the brands that she has been associated with.  A name that makes news by itself and for this very reason, over the years, her name has been liberally used, and misused, for several stories and announcements to make news and attract eyeballs.

Aishwarya’s publicist has issued a statement on her behalf that reads, “Media reportage on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan signed on as the brand ambassador for Danone products is entirely untrue. This kind of vicarious publicity shows unprofessionalism on part of the brand and their agency.

We would again like to reiterate that there is no truth to these rumours and would request the media in future to cross check facts with us before reporting such false and untrue stories.”
